Samoa has become the latest to fall for China's charm as the economic powerhouse continues its diplomatic sweep of the Pacific.
Both countries have signed a bilateral agreement, amid a Chinese delegation's eight-nation trip through the South Seas that's raised the hairs of western allies.
Details of the deal with Samoa are unclear, but an earlier draft document revealed Beijing's plans to expand security and trade with 10 Pacific nations.
