Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced plans to freeze gun ownership.
It would not ban handguns, but it would make it illegal to buy or sell them.
The move comes as a group of bipartisan US lawmakers are meeting in Washington today to find areas of common ground for gun reforms.
