Waka Kotahi says the Harbour Bridge may close on Monday morning, due to high winds.
A crash is blocking one lane headed into the city on the Southern after the Princes St off-ramp. Motorists should expect delays as far back as Manukau.
Also, a multi-vehicle crash has blocked two lanes on State Highway 20 for traffic headed east from Dominion Road. Further south.
State Highway 5 is closed between Maraeroa Rd and Dalbeth Rd, near Rotorua, due to a slip.
State Highway 1 near Marton is closed due to flooding. In Wellington, access to Block Road from State Highway 2 is closed due to flooding and Paekakariki Hill Road is closed due to slips.
On the West Coast, State Highway 6 into the Upper Buller Gorge is closed due to a slip.
The Lewis Pass, Lindis Pass, Haast Pass, and Burkes Pass are all closed, as is State Highway 73 Springfield to Arthurs Pass, and State Highway 94 Te Anau to Milford and the Crown range.
