The first national ice swimming championship has gotten off to a brisk start, with one local possibly breaking a world record.
Susan Sherwen is an organiser of the event, which kicked off with a splash yesterday and goes until tomorrow.
She's also one of the 20-or-so swimmers bracing themselves against the biting cold water, which has to be less than 5C.
Sherwen spoke to Kim Hill.
