One of New Zealand's most popular country musicians, John Grenell, has died at the age of 78.
Known for his smooth voice, John's career began when he was just teenager.
His band 'The Saddleblasters' toured the country extensively, and his cover of the Jim Reeves song 'Welcome To Our World' was a number one hit in the 90's.
Brendan Dugan is a fellow country musician and good friend of John's, he spoke to Corin Dann.
