From Morning Report, 7:50 am on 1 September 2022

Tributes are flowing for the late Princess Diana, as the world marks 25 years since her death.

Flowers and messages are sprawled along the bridge above the Paris underpass where Diana, her boyfriend and their driver, were killed in a high-speed car crash.

Admirers have also congregated outside Kensington Palace - some saying they make pilgrimages to the spot every year to remember the tragedy.

Diana was the focus of constant media attention from the moment she was engaged to Prince Charles until the very night she died.

Royal commentator and a former press secretary for Princess Diana Dickie Arbiter spoke to Susie Ferguson.
