Bilingual app aims to help improve mental health

A new bilingual app aimed at helping users improve their mental health goes live today.

The M3 Whānau App, which is billed as being grounded in te ao Māori, offers "mindfulness, meditation, movement and sleep stories" crafted for listeners' well-being.  

The material is based  on M3 Mindfulness, a wellness programme that's already taught in some schools.

Mindfulness founder Jase Te Patu spoke to Guyon Espiner.
