Ukraine has been bombarded with scores of Russian cruise missiles overnight, with the capital Kyiv in the direct firing line. Russian President Vladimir Putin says the strikes were in retaliation to the weekend's Crimean bridge attack. Back home, Aucklanders are calling on new mayor Wayne Brown to fix the city's public transport. The National Party wants to stop ministers who've quit Parliament from immediately becoming political lobbyists.
