Christopher Luxon on government's anti hate speech laws plans

As the annual He Whenua Taurikura hui on terrorism was held this week, the government announced plans to introduce new hate speech laws.

Without giving away any details of the potential laws, the Prime Minister says she is seeking cross-party support for the new measures.

Justice Minister Kiri Allan told TVNZ's Q&A programme the new laws should be in place by the next election.
