Doctors and nurses want Te Whatu Ora to fix the immense pressure on hospital emergency departments.
The union for senior doctors wants more elective surgeries cancelled to ensure there is room for those who need immediate care.
And the Nurses Organisation is calling for increased security presence as wait times and violence grows in EDs across the country.
