Dairy NZ is standing it's ground and asking for a major shake-up of the government's proposed emissions pricing scheme.
The policy was released for consultation last month following input from He Waka Eke Noa, a group of sector leaders.
But some representatives say as it stands, the scheme will squeeze farmers unfairly out of the sector.
