The Department of Internal Affairs is expecting more people conceived by donor egg, sperm or embryo will want information about their genetic history as they get older.
Since 2005, the Human Assisted Reproductive Technologies register has been collecting information on donor-conceived people, their parents, and donors.
There are now more than 3300 donor-conceived people on the register.
