The Metservice says there is still more rain to fall in Auckland. Duty forecaster Lewis Ferris says it looks like the worst of the heavy rain is starting to ease.
But he says by this afternoon it will have stopped.
However, the heavy rain is expected to move on to Bay of Plenty and Coromandel.
