Dilbert comics were about as beige as a jam sandwich, but this week the strip has been dropped from many US newspapers after its creator, Scott Adams, went on a bizarre, racist rant on YouTube.
Adams called Black Americans a "hate group" in response to a conservative organisation's poll that claimed 26 per cent of Black respondents disagreed with the statement "It's OK to be white".
It is important to note that phrase was used as part of a widespread online trolling campaign in 2017.
