Adapting for climate change may not as economically costly as both supporters and opponents of decisive action have long supposed.
That's according to a new Turning Point report out today from the corporate consultants at Deloitte.
Among the findings is the claim that adapting for climate change could add $64 billion to the New Zealand economy by 2040.
Inadequate action, on the other hand, could cost the economy $4.4 billion over the same period.
Deloitte economics director Liza Van Der Merwe spoke to Corin Dann.
