Federated Farmers say the sacking of Forestry Minister, Stuart Nash, means the current inquiry into land use on the East Coast is at risk of turning into a box-ticking exercise.
Gisborne Farmer and Meat & Wool Chairperson Toby Williams says an eight week inquiry was a hard ask before Mr Nash's departure and now it needs to be extended.
