Retired senior US military officers have been landing high-paying government jobs in New Zealand, including with our spy agency.
In 2020, the Government Communications Security Bureau hired an ex-US Air Force lieutenant colonel for up to $165,000 a year.
These are among hundreds of American veterans, including generals and admirals, who US media revealed have taken jobs overseas.
Senators are concerned that sensitive US information could be used against them.
