Coromandel Civil Defence teams are out across the region this morning assessing any damage caused by the region's latest drenching.
The heavy rain warning was dropped late last night but a big clean up is expected today with flooding and slips reported across the peninsula.
A number of roads are closed or under stop-go instructions, and drivers are reminded to expect delays.
