The fallout of a fractious week in politics isn't over - with Te Pāti Māori firing up after both major parties refused to support a proposed ban on seabed mining.
The National Party has ruled out working with the Māori Party after Election 2023, leaving its only path to power with Labour.
This didn't stop Te Pāti Māori co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer attacking both sides of the house when her member's bill was voted down at first reading.
