The Open Championship golf major begins today, marking sixty years since Sir Bob Charles lifted the famous Claret Jug.
Sir Bob won the 1963 Open in a 36-hole playoff, eventually beating American Phil Rodgers by eight shots.
This year's tournament has two Kiwi hopes, Ryan Fox and Daniel Hillier, and Sir Bob says he would love to see another New Zealander etched into the trophy.
He spoke to Morning Report producer Ben Strang.
