Ali Brown has broken his third Guinness World Record for the longest continuous drumming session totalling 150 hours.
The Northern Irishman says no caffeine was involved over the six and a half days battling sleep deprivation and snare drums, all in memory of Mr Brown's partner Sharon Deegan who passed away two years ago from pancreatic cancer.
He has raised just over $43,000 NZD for cancer research and mental health charity, Mind.
Brown spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
