The Education Minister, Jan Tinetti, says schools will be given the resources to implement Labour's policy of compulsory financial literacy classes for all students from 2025, if it wins the election.
Skills including budgeting, saving, banking, and managing bills would be taught as part of maths and social sciences, with compulsory assessments of how students are doing at each year level.
