Labour leader Chris Hipkins has taken aim at other political parties, accusing them of race baiting during the election campaign in order to gain power.
He's delivered a warning about the impact a National, ACT, New Zealand First government would have on race relations calling it divisive and a huge step backwards.
However other leaders are dismissing his accusation as a sign of desperation, as Labour continues its downwards slide in the polls.
