As the bombardment on Gaza intensifies, Israel says it has cut the region in two, dividing north and south.
The Hamas-run Health Ministry says the death toll in Gaza has now surpassed 10,000 - 4,000 of which are children.
On Monday night, Israel said its airstrikes reached all 450 targets across the northern territory.
