Police have arrested a Te Whatu Ora staffer accused of leaking large amounts of vaccination data.
The 56-year-old man has been charged with accessing a computer system for dishonest purposes and will appear in court on Monday.
The health agency says the staffer has worked in the health system for years and was authorised to access the data.
But he was locked out of systems when the health agency was alerted to a breach.
Te Whatu Ora chief executive Margie Apa spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
