Proposal to restore two Māori place names in Auckland

Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei hopes to bring back the traditional name of part of Auckland's waterfront, which is Te Tōangaroa, meanwhile the southern suburb of Takanini could be changed back to its original spelling with an extra 'a' Takaanini.
