Bolivia's president accused of plotting a coup to boost popularity

Bolivia's president is facing accusations that he plotted a coup attempt against himself to boost his popularity. The attempt, which took place last week, lasted just three hours - during which time President Luis Arce rallied Bolivians to "mobilise" to defend democracy, apparently defused the mutiny in a one-on-one confrontation and appointed a new military command.
