ED numbers breaking records as winter illnesses hit

There has been a record number of emergency patients through the doors of Middlmore Hospital as winter illnesses hit hard. Just last week the south Auckland ED had its busiest day ever, treating almost 500 people. It is not the only one seeing big numbers. Health Correspondent Rowan Quinn reports.
