Maritime expert questions autopilot on Aratere

A maritime expert is questioning why the Aratere ferry was put on autopilot as it left Picton. John Riding, a senior maritime consultant, he says the waters out of Picton are potentially hazardous enough to require full manual control of any ferry sailing the Marlborough Sounds. He spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
