Awa in Hawaii
Te Awanui ‘Awa’ Reeder got his start in Nesian Mystik, the inner-city Auckland R&B and hip hop outfit. As a solo artist, ‘Awa’ is tapping into the northernmost islands of Polynesia, exporting his music to Hawaii. In Return to Hawaiki, Awa takes us to the islands to meet some of the characters who are championing his South Pacific pop.
