It's hard not to get enthusiastic when you combine robots, music and games. Victoria University PhD student Jason Long successfully brings these three elements together with his robotic orchestra.
In the School of Engineering and Computer Sciences he has built a robotic orchestra that plays the Super Mario Brothers theme and sound effects in real-time game-play.
The game, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, is one of the best-selling video games of all time also has one the most recognisable theme tunes. Covered by the likes of orchestras, concert pianists, and even the San Diego Comic Con Cos-Play Choir, and now a team of robots.
Yadana Saw gets her hands on the controller while holding the mic.
