Since 1988 Anton Newcombe and whoever else has managed to tag along in the interim have made music under the name the Brian Jonestown Massacre.
Their legacy is fraught with great highs and deep lows - think their 2004 appearance in rockumentary DIG!) - but what’s kept the band going is their sheer determination to make music they way they want to hear it.
