Over 13 years and a catalogue of four albums and two EPs, Devin Abrams has been making music as Pacific Heights, a solo project worlds removed from, and tens of bpms slower than, Shapeshifter’s high-energy bass music.
His latest is The Stillness, a record of brooding electronic soundscapes that ruminate on what he describes as a ‘perfect storm’ of personal issues he faced after leaving the Christchurch-formed drum’n’bass group.
