RNZ Music is delighted to be the first to share the new live video from Wellington folk trio Ida Lune. ‘No Harm in Hope’ is the debut single from their self-titled album, due out in April.
The ‘No Harm In Hope’ video is part of a three-part live performance series from Ida Lune. It was shot and recorded at a beautiful house on the Karaka Bay coast in Wellington.
Ida Lune are from Pōneke/Wellington. Members Anna Wooles, Deanne Krieg (WHIM, Dawn Diver), and Rose Blake (Blaek, Dawn Diver) bring together contrasting backgrounds in jazz, classical, and electronic music.
Their songs are built on detailed three-part harmonies and interweaving melodies, enhanced by layers of synth and strings (banjo, mandolin, guitar and more).
