RNZ Music is proud to present the new single and video from Auckland-based band Valkyrie.
Valkyrie is a three-piece band from South Auckland consisting of Omer Gilroy (Nga Puhi, Ngai Tahu), Rebel Reid (Nga Puhi) and Brandon Haru (Nga Puhi, Tainui).
Valkyrie's brand new track ‘Good Thing’ is their first release of 2020. Accompanied by a colorful and alluring video directed by Shae Sterling.
Known for their immersive and eclectic sound, Valkyrie’s music brings together elements of arena rock, pop and RnB. This high energy, catchy dance track is about the sexiness of Jimi Hendrix and MIck Jagger.
The video’s director Shae Stirling has worked with some of NZ's most well-known artists, including Stan Walker, Maisey Rika, Maya Payne and K.One.
Valkyrie are currently working towards the release of their new EP due in 2021.
