Stranger Cole

Stranger Cole is a Jamaican singer, songwriter and producer whose career has spanned fifty years. He is also the narrator of the documentary film 'Rocksteady: The Roots of Reggae' which has just been released here on DVD. In February 2011 Stranger Cole performed in New Zealand for the first time. He met with Dubhead to talk about his humble musical beginnings at the start of the 1960s and also the recent revival of interest in vintage Jamaican music.
