New Way Home

A decade of terraced dynamics and riffage has grown a devoted battalion of fans here and abroad for Auckland heavy metal band New Way Home. In October 2012 they finally launched their first full-length album Mirrors with a gig at Galatos in Auckland. Music Mix producer Nick Atkinson was there to find out more about this band and their attendant hard and fast counter culture. We join Nick outside the venue just as sound-check is getting under way. He's with New Way Home lead-singer Richie Simpson.
