9:07 Country Life
The Country Life team meets a couple of wine-mad viticulturists who have transformed a limestone quarry into an organic vineyard that pays homage to the grape-growing traditions of the Burgundy region in France and they find out about the 14 varieties of Christmas tree that are grown at a Wairarapa Christmas tree farm.
10:17 Late Edition
Bryan Crump presents all the breaking news, a little analysis of the stories of the moment, and some highlights of the day on RNZ National.
10:18 Reopening the Tākaka Hill road
The Tākaka Hill road has been restored to two lanes, almost four years after it was extensively damaged by Cyclone Gita. Road access to and from Golden Bay was cut off for several days following the February 2018 incident, but was reopened to a single lane after almost $3 million of emergency repairs. Tasman Mayor, Tim King chats to Bryan Crump about the long wait to get the road reopened.
11:07 The Mixtape
A slightly different Mixtape tonight: Instead of one guest picking their favourite tunes, Charlotte Ryan plays some of the songs that didn't make RNZ Music's Top 20 Countdown list, and speak to the RNZ Music family and friends that voted for them.
