Predicting dementia ahead of diagnosis

Alzheimers Disease and other forms of dementia may not be an inevitable part of ageing but preventable with some simple lifestyle changes.

Dr Adeel Razi has been part of an international research team led by Queen Mary University of London, which has found a new and accurate way for identify who might get dementia, years before actual diagnosis.

He's a Associate Professor of Computational Neuroscience based at Melbourne's Monash University.

Professor Razi is here to explain the development which goes beyond usual diagnostic tools like memory tests or measuring brain shrinkage.
