Some Rangiora High School students have been part of an interactive digital pilot programme this year, which aims to educate about vaping in a non punitive way.
And last year, sensors with cameras were installed in toilet corridors to try to reduce vaping and anti-social behaviour.
Acting principal Remihana Emery says both measures are making a difference.
