Plimmerton's Grand Central

Nine months of work by dozens of volunteers has restored the near-derelict Plimmerton Railway Station, north of Wellington, to its former glory. The recent grand opening involved a steam train and guests dressed in 1940s styles, including Spectrum producer Jack Perkins.
