Donovan Bixley

For 20 years, Donovan Bixley has created extraordinary stories and unforgettable characters, including illustrated biographies Faithfully Mozart and Much Ado About Shakespeare, and working with writer Kyle Mewburn on the Dinosaur Rescue series.

He's just been awarded the 2017 Mallinson Rendel Illustrators Award from the New Zealand Arts Foundation, and $15,000 dollar gift that goes with it.
