Tauranga Jazz Winners: Phil Broadhurst and Callum Allardice
Last weekend at the Tauranga National Jazz Festival the winners were announced for the Tui Best Jazz Album and the inaugural APRA Jazz Composition of the year. Jazz pianist, educator, and multi award winner Phil Broadhurst picked up Best Album for his 2015 release 'Panacea' and Callum Allardice won the inaugural APRA Best Jazz Composition award.
