Two thousand years of hair styles are encapsulated in a new exhibition at Christchurch Art Gallery, from bad hair days to eccentric styles, sideburns to split ends.
Bad Hair Day includes more than 60 works, showing how attitudes towards hair and hairstyles have changed, for better and for worse. Big name New Zealand artists including Leo Bensemann, Ronnie van Hout and Yvonne Todd have work in the exhibition curated by Ken Hall.
