The Tauranga-raised, LA-based journalist and filmmaker is behind the award-winning substack: 'Webworm', podcast 'Flightless Bird', Netflix series Dark Tourist, not to mention documentaries Tickled and most recently Mister Organ.
He describes his work as weird investigations, quirks and oddities, but it's not without impact.
Last year, Webworm scooped the award for Best Team Investigation - for its deep-dive into Mega Church, Arise - at the Voyager Media Awards. He joins Anna for a road trip around Aotearoa New Zealand.
