Over 20,000 ignore calls to recheck faulty warrant's of fitness

A road safety charity says more than 20,000 people are ignoring calls to get their warrants of fitness rechecked, despite being warned of faulty checks. The Transport Agency suspended more than a dozen inspectors or garages late last year for issuing dodgy certifications. Since then just 4,070 have been reinspected with only 40% passing on their first go.
