Iran's president has warned all foreign forces should leave the Middle East, or they "may be in danger".
Tensions are high following a series of events in the region, beginning with the death of Qasem Soleimani almost two weeks ago.
In a televised Cabinet meeting on Wednesday Hassan Rouhani issued a warning for European soldiers, saying they "may be in danger" and said all foreign forces should leave the region.
New Zealand troops remain in Camp Taji near Baghdad and aren't expected to return for a few more months.
