Last year, classical instrumental trio NZTrio went back on the road after nearly two years locked down by Covid. This year they're performing in a series called The Homeland Tours, playing not only the usual main centres but Whangarei, Gisborne, Wanaka and Norsewood. Simon Morris talks to violinist Amalia Hall of NZTrio which kicks off its Homleand Tours with a concert at Wellington's Public Trust Hall on Thursday. Amalia's Forest and Bird concert with Rob Thorne takes place on March the 17th, as part of the Auckland Arts Festival.
