Time for the final question

From The House , 10:35 pm on 20 December 2017

Have fun these holidays but be careful decorating the Christmas tree says the Minister for Workplace Relations Iain Lees-Galloway.

In the final question time for the year Mr Galloway told the House, claims related to hanging lights, opening presents, popping the champagne cork and 137 Christmas tree decorating claims were laid with ACC last year.

He also said he was "sad to report that there have been five workplace fatalities in the last week and four road deaths in the last 24 hours" and asked people to take extra care at work and on the roads.

Question time was also used by the main party leaders to throw some last minute punches and other MPs learned a couple of things about how Parliament functions.
