One of New Zealand's Leading Mental Performance Coaches, David Niethe, has worked with some of the world's most talented athletes, including golfer Lydia Ko and MMA fighter Israel Adesanya.

He has written a book called The Winning Mindset: Your Guide to Achieving Success from New Zealand's Leading Mental Performance Coach.

9:30 Bootcamp for opera singers

This weekend 21 singers from around Aotearoa will converge on Whanganui for a two week, opera-singing, bootcamp. The residential course is held at Whanganui Collegiate .

In July 1977, the first multi-lingual Polynesian newspaper, Mana, was published in Auckland.

The groundbreaking publication shared news relevant to Māori and Pacific people advocating for social justice at a time when mainstream media largely ignored these communities.

A new Auckland War Memorial Museum exhibition spotlights the groundbreaking newspaper and the voices it platformed during some of Aotearoa New Zealand's most defining years of activism.

The Grammy Award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir from South Africa weaves a rich tapestry of harmonies and rhythms from African gospel, soulful spirituals and American popular music. 

Touring for up to 11 months of every year the Soweto Gospel Choir will be performing in Auckland in March as part of the Auckland Arts Festival. 

Choir master Shimmy Jiyane joins Summer Weekends during their tour of Italy.
